The practice of Kundalini Yoga proves effective in promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being for addicts and drug dependents, supporting them in their journey to recovery, not only through kriyas, meditation and pranayamas, but also in promoting a therapeutic space of embracing and sharing. Learn more about this project, which has been working in support of men and women since 2012, welcomed by SERVOS farms in Brasilia.
KUNDALINI YOGA CLASSES FOR INCARCERATED WOMEN
The Kundalini Yoga classes for women in prisons in Peru project is an initiative that since 2009 been serving the inmates, aiming to promote health care tools and support for the deprivation of freedoms through Kundalini Yoga practice, in addition to making the general population aware of these incarcerated women’s reality. .
HEALTHY FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED
Fundación Social Amar Das has been operating in and around Santiago, Chile since 2019 and aims to support vulnerable people. One of their main programs today is to bring healthy and nutritious food to those who are homeless.

Y.O.G.A. for Youth is a non-profit organization based in the United States that handles and assists youth and families in underserved communities through the principles and practices of yoga and mindfulness. They serve throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of Europe and China.

The NGO CuraSer was created in 2017 with the intention of serving the socially vulnerable population, aiming to strengthen the dignity of the human being. Through langar, dialogue and listening opportunities are created to welcome the subtle demands of those assisted, allowing the necessary openness for the beginning of transformation.

YOGA FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Meet the Kundalini Yoga project for the children of "Hogar de las Bienaventuranzas" (Home of the Beatitudes) in Lima. A Seva initiative that since 2018 has been offering children with special educational needs (the vast majority of whom have been abandoned) access to Yoga practices as a way to re-establish a connection with themselves and the world around them. This is also a way of ensuring their human dignity.
FREE MINDS BOOK CLUB & WRITING WORKSHOP

The Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop is a project that serves incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and adults. Through literary arts, workforce development, and violence prevention, they have the opportunity to connect with their voices, their purpose, and the wider community. The project serves over 1,000 youth and adults annually in the Washington DC jail, juvenile detention center, federal prison system, and community reintegration system.

PANDEMIC TIMES
This Seva project in Peru supports various vulnerable communities in Lima, serving langar and breakfast, as well as supplies to prepare the food. This service during the pandemic is admirable, as it continues to bring food to many people at this time of great crisis.

NEGRITUDE
Yoga e Negritude is a photographic project, carried out by the Sangat of Belo Horizonte - Brazil, which represents black people in the world of Kundalini Yoga through images of black men and women in these spaces.
KY FOR CHILDREN AT ROSINHA'S NURSERY
Teaching Kundalini Yoga classes for children is a universe apart. Besides holding the sacred space, it is also necessary, as Sat Beant says, to "connect with your inner child and flow with the dynamics of impermanent reality." Learn more about this seva experience that has been happening since 2008 with children from 3 to 6 years old in a daycare center in Belo Horizonte/Brazil.

AT THE HOSPITAL
Meditation at the hospital is a Seva project that offered Kundalini Yoga and meditation practices to the medical staff that was on the front lines at the Alcorcón Foundation University Hospital, to provide them with support in times of pandemic.
