The practice of Kundalini Yoga proves effective in promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being for addicts and drug dependents, supporting them in their journey to recovery, not only through kriyas, meditation and pranayamas, but also in promoting a therapeutic space of embracing and sharing. Learn more about this project, which has been working in support of men and women since 2012, welcomed by SERVOS farms in Brasilia.

The Kundalini Yoga classes for women in prisons in Peru project is an initiative that since 2009 been serving the inmates, aiming to promote health care tools and support for the deprivation of freedoms through Kundalini Yoga practice, in addition to making the general population aware of these incarcerated women’s reality. .

YOGA FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Meet the Kundalini Yoga project for the children of "Hogar de las Bienaventuranzas" (Home of the Beatitudes) in Lima. A Seva initiative that since 2018 has been offering children with special educational needs (the vast majority of whom have been abandoned) access to Yoga practices as a way to re-establish a connection with themselves and the world around them. This is also a way of ensuring their human dignity.

The Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop is a project that serves incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and adults. Through literary arts, workforce development, and violence prevention, they have the opportunity to connect with their voices, their purpose, and the wider community. The project serves over 1,000 youth and adults annually in the Washington DC jail, juvenile detention center, federal prison system, and community reintegration system.

Meditation at the hospital is a Seva project that offered Kundalini Yoga and meditation practices to the medical staff that was on the front lines at the Alcorcón Foundation University Hospital, to provide them with support in times of pandemic.
